As this is the most probable location we've looked at, and we should start devising soon, and so we began brain storming ideas from a variation of photos of the area;
There was plenty of ideas coming up about war and battle, which could have been expected considering the location is a Fort, however I thought it was important to move away from a piece with physical conflict as it could become very 'Year 9 Physical theatre'. One of the words that stuck out for me was 'Refugees'; we could use the Fort as a strategic defense point for an underground community that have been pushed out of society by a fascist government and found the worn down Fort as refuge. Here are further ideas we came up with steaming from this;
I think this location, as well as these ideas, has real potential and so I hope it can pick up pace and direction.
